April 2012 Card Sketch Challenge

Okay, here is the sketch suggestion for April. I hope more of you will find this one interesting. I tried to find one with a bit of a twist again. Not wonky but different. This one asks you to fold over the card panel just a bit. Of course, you can achieve this same effect in any way you choose. Ooops, just noticed I forgot to sketch in the brad. Well, you can attach your fold-over any darned way you like.

Here is the sample I created for the sketch (truthfully, I create the card first and then the sketch so I do have a leg up on you participants). All materials are Club Scrap. Card base is from Rhapsody. The panels are from Birds of a Feather. Stamped images are from Be Wonderful. The digi image is from Sprinkles and was colored with Bic Mark-its and Pastel pencils. All edges inked with Distress Inks. There's a bit of Stickles on the ice cream. (is that gross?).

A bit crooked. I used American Crafts - Dear Lizzy Neapolitan products for this card. I kinda like the ruffle crepe paper trim. Card Base and green rick rack matte are DCWV.
