April 2012 Card Sketch Challenge

I love Jen's sketches and this is no exception. The fold is ideal for those gorgeous double sided papers...and at this point I rarely buy papers that aren't double sided.

Base is CS Farmer's Market and black panel. Folded double sided paper is from Theresa Collins' Giving Thanks, stamp is Hero Arts. Okay now the story. There is just one thing wrong with this card. It is actually upside-down. The base and panel were already glued earlier. When I got around to adding everything else, I didn't check to be sure it was opening the right way. It opens from the left now...guess it's a card for a lefty? This is a direct result of not being able to sleep last night, getting up early this morning and taking Charley to UCDavis (where he has been accepted) to do some more touring with about 10,000 other people today. Even my Monster Italian latte this afternoon didn't give me the boost that I needed.

Oh yeah, better remember to actually add the card

I don't think it's the sketch, Jen.... I think it's maybe just us. I have plans to make a card from this either tonight or tomorrow night; I have some ideas percolating. Don't give up on us yet!

This is a fun little fairy card for a special DGD's 7th b-day. Artistry comes second to good stickers.
