I need some quick help.


I have a pic of a class I am supposed to be teaching soon. One of the things I need to do is show the pic and have the title of the class and my name on it but for the life of me can't figure how to do it.
I'm using PSE (6?)

You'll want to layer it. There is a text tool in the tool bar. You select it, then click about where you want the text. You might not see what you type. Just go for it. Then click the green check when you are done. I hope you have the layer list open on the right. You should now see two layers. Make sure the text layer is on top. If the text color needs to be changed, use the text tool to select the text and then you change the color, size, etc. Use the drag tool to move it. You'll get it.

Glad you got it. Layering is totally 90% of the digi battle.. at least it was for me. I'd been there with the stuff not showing up, even though I could see it in the layer stack. Took me forever to realize that the order mattered, and then it was like "well, duh".

Layering and resizing - master those and you're ahead of the curve!

Gotta tell you, that layering thing was the biggest DUH! moment when I finally got it. I think what finally did it was I started to picture the layering palette as the top of my desk in my mind and realized that it was just like having that stack of things sitting on my desk. The bottom thing was hidden by all the things on top of it.
