I first started using doilies with Christy Tomlinson's classes. Now I see that May Flaum uses them a lot. Last week I splurged on a pack of 12" doilies. Oh yes.

What I get for not reading and just looking at the layout. It is colorful! I love the colors on it.

I have never seen stitched paper. The colors are so springy. Very cool looking. I do like the use of the doilies and have some here somewhere.

Lovely layouts, Pam!! I think I still have one or t wo of those Prima stitched papers floating around myself.... you're right, they are so pretty but difficult to actually *use*. The ones I picked up were on the softer, muted end of the color spectrum.

I keep telling myself it would be okay to cut one of those papers - but I've never done it.

great layouts, and being a fan of May's I too have enjoyed seeing the doilies in use! I've never seen that stitched paper either... and maybe that's a good thing

here is mine. I used an envelope as part of my photo matte so I could tuck a tag in it.
This is Shai hold her dream jars of Nutella (yes they are actually sold this way) while at a rest stop in Italy.

oh my, those are some big jars of that delectable spread! Very clever with the envelope as a mat. I'm going to copy that... one of these days!
