I strayed off my Lochridge slides this week to do a couple of layouts with my dad. The first shows one of him as a little boy with Santa, then with me when I was just 2 or 3 and then him about 3 years ago. The next one fits the theme of Halloween for the Weekly Chronicles over at CS. We went to Disney World for Halloween in 1994 and he dressed up as Dracula.

Rachelle, those are beautiful. I love your choice of pictures for the first one.

These are wonderful, Rachelle. Was your dad that tall or is your mom that tiny?? The photo of your dad and Santa is absolutely priceless.

Thanks everyone! Mom and I are doing ok. We're trying to do a little something everyday so we don't get overwhelmed with all the stuff we have to do.

My mom is disabled and is sitting on a scooter in the pic. That's why she looks so much shorter. She's really 5'4" and dad is 6'. And that picture with Santa is my favorite of my dad as a child. That was taken at the Seattle Fredrick & Nelson store in 1947.

Rachelle, that old photo is amazing. You are so fortunate to have that. What a wonderful way to remember your Dad.
