Rosette Gluing Tip

genius is right! And I have a glue mat that I bought years ago for hot glue stuff. What a great way to do those rosettes without having them pop up on you!

Holy crap.
How I wish I'd seen this a week ago. I started making 7 rather large (and unwieldy) rosettes last Thursday, and finished them up on Monday because they took so long to put together. OMG this would have been so much better! I'm thinking that even a similar approach with a large (thick) glue dot would have made more sense than what I was trying to do.
Oy. Live and learn. This is genius, and now that I've seen it, I might retract my vow to never make rosettes again.
