I had a really good mail day yesterday. Vintage Velma showed up and she's a cutie!! She's made of a children's book and look at those toes! She even has nail polish on. Her glasses are super cool and I love how Rachelle decorated all the pages in the book. She's a beauty. She has a place of honor in my scrap room with the previous dolls of years past. Thanks Rachelle, you really had your creative hat on for this one.

She is adorable! And she plays well with others. She came for a play date with Birdadette a couple of weeks ago!

Thanks, Deb! Glad you like her. I had alot of fun once the idea hit me. It actually developed from the altered book we saw a few months ago, I think on the Gentleman Crafter blog. Kind of my interpretation.

I got to see Birdadette, when I went to Paula's for a playdate a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, I will have to wait to pick her up till next week. Pesky job called! I did take a picture of Birdadette and Velma together though, so I thought I'd go ahead and post a pic so you could all see Paula's great creation. Isn't she wonderful?

Rachelle, what a great idea to use the book. Now I'll be looking for odd shaped children's books at the thrift store. Velma is adorable.

Paula, I love all the different items you used and it all came together perfectly. I'm particularly fond of her hair and the little bow.

I got my doll from Debbie today!!!!!!! Another beautiful creation. She's a lovely young lady dressed in lace and Washi tape standing on a lace draped pedestal. I love her, Debbie. Thank you SO MUCH!

Wow! She's gorgeous! I must say, the dolls are all so unique and beautiful! Let's give ourselves a round of applause girls! We done good!

And thank you all for playing! I think this is the first ever, that we've gotten them all done and in the mail by the deadline.
