PAPER, have we got paper Think of all that old paper we are purging, I know I'll be reaching for that CS Abe Lincoln paper that is still kicking around here. Their paper should hold up well to inking and painting heavily. Anyone tried CS paper yet?

Thanks everyone. Keep the ideas coming, but I'm definitely going to pull out all my Abe paper (I think I got quite a few sheets in a grab bag pack) and if I don't like the way it turns out, in the garbage he goes (finally)

I love the Egyptian paper!! As for th Abe paper, I turned it over and stamped what I wanted on the backside.... loved the stamp diecut edge but not Abe.

We used 100 lb cardstock in the class.
From our kit, I used the manilla folder, the handmade paper and the muslin, too. Every piece you use will give you different results (duh, Pam). I'm always fascinated with the outcomes.

I've tried all those types that have been mentioned, including the CS paper. It did great on the smooth sides as well as the textured sides. The textured paper became a great part of the design.

Tags are great and I love using it on deli paper too. I've even used it on canvas board. It takes longer to dry but gives great texture on the canvas if you have enough paint, like on the first pull.

Love what you all did but I haven't a clue.
