The SST that most people know is the Concorde. Does that ring a bell? I don't know if any of them are even flying now, but my DH actually flew on the Concorde too Europe with the gal from Sleepless in Seattle. (I can't remember her name, and THAT is an age thing!!!Monica wrote:

Yes the Concorde. I stayed at the Concorde Hotel in Paris years ago when it was still flying. No I did not fly on it however, LOL.
My ATCs arrived today and they are all FABULOUS! I just love the variety and techniques.

Okay- so I asked DH some details, and he said from JFK to Heathro was 3 hours and 26 minutes, flying at 60,000 ft at mach 2. Meg Ryan was with her sister (along with Mike Wallace) to attend the London premiere of the movie Inner Space. (that is where they are shrunk down, and enter a human ear in a space ship.) Anyone remember that movie? lol
