I tried Wildflowers and Dream in Color and just wasn't happy. IMHO Common Threads and Pure & Simple are good sets for flower photos.

Another set of pages for week one of the class I'm taking.
Glimmer mist and collage and a bit of stamping and finger painting.

This was a fun exercise. We used glimmer mists, neocolor watercolor crayons, and acrylic paints. A bit of stamping with paint and inks and some faber castell markers.

OK, no qdp and no templates. Digis from Divine Digital. Karen presented Laura Ingalls Wilder at our Fellowship for her dress rehersal. She is fabulous and is taking the program to Nebraska. She did Clara Barton earlier.

I just love Ava's dimples. Believe it or not that's the way mine were years ago.
I used a QP from MFerk

Just did this bird Friday morning before heading to the beach. Used watercolor paper and KOI watercolors.

Ok, don't know if this works here but here is a digital play on my Friday's "Take Flight" watercolor.

"Free Spirit: Grow wings and take flight looking for a place to express your free spirit."

Looks like I'm the first one rumaging through the recycle bin; or in this case trolling the thrift store. I knew I wanted to repurpose something for the lottery this month so went on a thrift store crawl yesterday and found this rather ugly chipped trinket box to repurpose. Cost me all of 99cents too! ;)
2 sheets of K&Co paper, some paint and a few chip board embellies decorate the top of the box. I cleaned off the glass with some laquer thinner and put a vellum pianist on with some glossy accents. AI'd the top of the glass with several greens.

I'll crosspost in the lottery thread too.

Grrr - my computer keeps kicking me out.
Condensed version of this post...my journaling isn't in the background as much as I want it to be so I'm going to work on this some more tomorrow.
I'm sleepy.

Here is my outdoor scene, not watercolor, but inspired by the works of Monet. It's a 16x20 canvas that I painted last night. All acrylic. The instruction on this one wasn't as good as the first class I did, because there was so much detail to the original that was very hard to replicate. But it's OK - I like it enough to hang in my scrap room. The colors work well. :-)

I decided to take Pam's challenge for part of my Lochridge Slides WC this week. This page was done completely from scratch and went together pretty quick.
