PAOist Doll Swap--Closed and Completed

I think we are down to 4 of us who have not received dolls yet. Rinda, Gwen, Neith and myself. Without giving anything away I pretty much know that all of the dolls, except the one for me are in the mail or on their way to the PO. I'm hoping that we all have our dolls by the end of next week.

The dolls are just spectacular and I have really enjoyed seeing all the different interpretations. I think it would be really fun to do an annual PAO doll swap and get a little collection going. Anybody up for that?

Sorry - I'm just now getting caught up - Neith didn't get hers???? When I posted a picture of the blue girl on my steering wheel, that was taken at the post office right before she went into the envelope. I'm extremely sad that she hasn't made it. Since I took a photo, I think I could replicate most of her. There are some parts that I used my very last bits, but I could still do another similar one.

I'm really starting to be leary of sending anything East. My tags I sent to Dani went into never never land, and now the blue doll.

I haven't heard from Neith one way or the other, but have a PM into her. Hopefully she just got busy and forgot to post that she arrived. I'll let you know if I hear from her.

Now that the PSL is over I was hoping we could get some closure to our PAO doll swap. Please let me know how the status is on these:

Gwen--should have received a doll from Annette
Rinda--should have received a forwarded doll from Luanne
Rachelle--should have received a doll from Neith

I have not received a doll yet, but have heard from Neith and should be receiving a doll soon.

I got my forwarded doll, and she's great! Thanks to Deb Barnhill for creating an artistic steelworker. I'm a union advocate in my "other" life, so she's perfect for me.

Gwen - so sorry that I am so late with this. It was supposed to have been mailed ages ago then I got sick and have had to travel for business as well. My abject apologies. She is all packed up and ready to mail. Have to borrow the car to get to the post office.

Now that I'm back in the real world again, doing an annual doll swap sounds like a great idea. Count me in too. Rachelle gets to sit atop of my heat tool frame and watch all the nutty, arty thingies I make. She is a true inspiration each time I sit down and check with her "what do you think?" She seems to approve of everything I do! A true friend indeed.
