Re: The weekend post
Pam - I totally get it, regarding the TV. I did turn the TV on today, just because it's my routine on a free Saturday to make a plate of eggs, brew some coffee, and channel surf while I eat. I flipped past several of the typical re-playing of the day shows, but one caught my attention and I was abso...

Re: The weekend post
Have fun girl you deserve the time alone. Thanks so much! I did spent a lot of time tonight, pulling unthemed pre-made layouts, and tried to look through 5 years of photos to see if I have anything that matches up. I did get quite a few layout/photo pairings made, and I'm going to get a print order...

The weekend post
So.... it's Friday. Nicole isn't home, and the boys are at an OA Reunion (scout thing) campout until Sunday morning. There are no band events for me to go to, though I do have some prep work to do for our marching invitational that we're hosting next weekend. But other than that, I'm sitting here no...

Re: Winter Fun
Yeah - I've kind of in a lull with work stuff - it's often a feast or famine situation with my workload. And working from my craft room means I can go through my stash while still quickly responding to an email or ping from a work chat window. :-) So I've been killing a lot of time going through som...

Re: Julie Fugina!!!
OMG. Purchased - like, instantly - no question. I didn't even stop to look for other stuff. Thank you so much for the link! I've been trying to find images that could be loaded into my cricut, but nothing was ever quite right. This is is!

Re: Winter Fun
Thanks! I like it too. I added a couple more photos than what the page kit called for, because the background paper was a bit busy, and the extra photo and matting helped a lot.

Re: My new/used car
Very nice! We need to do a massive auto-shuffle at our house, and we're not really sure the best way to go about it. Nicole and I have CR-Vs (2012 and 2019), and Rob has a Jeep Grand Cherokee (2014). The Grand is the only one that's paid off, and he's wanting to trade for a truck with a much larger ...

WOW! I'm late to this thread but everything that's been posted so far is really great! I went and subscribed to that FB page, but I haven't picked up the latest challenge. With only two weeks left to go with the 6x6 class, I think maybe I may make a goal of switching to these challenges for a while....

Winter Fun
So, I found this kit when I was looking for something else - totally unsure where it came from or when I would have gotten it. It's an Embellish It! page kit from 2014. :wtf: Anyway, the layout looked just about right for a set of pics I have of Jake sledding down our hill in a late (March) snowfall...

Re: 31 Days of Cut Files
These are all super great. My cricut is so under-utilized, but these pages are incredibly inspiring! The background cut in the second layout is reminding me of the "Paper Lace" cartridge that I have. Weeding would be a PITA, but I love the background overlay effect and think using a paper ...

Re: 6 x 6 Class - Week #18 LOs
As I said earlier, I do like this sketch, and intended to do it again. For this one, rather than 6x6 patterned paper, I used monochromatic POPs, and let the texture be the pattern. I'm questioning the stark white background, but aside from that, I kind of love it. The yellow word strips are directly...

Re: 6 x 6 Class - Week #18 LOs
Pam - I think the full length strips in work just as well in this layout as the banners do. And I don't really think the banners would have gone with the 50s vibe at all. Nicely done. Jill - love the cheerleading layout! Here's mine. I used my hex punch this time and had far better results with nipp...

Re: Using Old LOs
So adorable! And the kit is definitely a perfect fit. That was one of the themes I really struggled to use up, and it was probably the beginning of the end of my membership. I just couldn't wrap my head around how to use those themes. Nicely done!
