Marianne and Pam, they are very nice pieces. That cigar box is way cool. It gave me an idea to make one for my deck of art cards. Pam you did great finding all that on your table. Great job.

I love that cigar box Marianne! All of the layering paid off, the texture is amazing! I have some cigar boxes that Diana gave me, I will copy this techique, if you don't mind

Ok, there were some scraps on my table after the weekend's layouts. So I watched the video to refresh my memory and tried again in my gesso-ed calendar/art journal.

Well, you know how it is - you start cutting and then you cut a little more and then before you know, you decide that if you've cut that much out then you need to cut a little more.

I love my X-acto knives!

Since my desk is a totally mess I decided I could certainly do another piece for this challenge. This is a tag and nothing on it makes any sense (except my initials) just all thrown together. EVERYTHING was on my desk.
