Gesso price???

So I finally found gesso yesterday. It was almost $9 for a tub. Is that a decent price?

8oz of golden is about $8-$9

but there are cheaper brands out there.

I have golden now...but I'll ask for liquitex...although I've never used it...so much cheaper.

I'll have to double check the size. I dont need it anytime soon. Its just the first time I've seen it here and they only had 1 tub. However, it was at the Arts & Crafts Center & since I'll be working there, I can snag some as soon as it arrives. Also, I didnt want to buy it yet on the chance that I get a discount.
