Here's what we did today...........
Got up at 6:30am, grabbed a coffee and hit the soft shell clam beds. Low tide was at 7:15; 2 hours and 64 clams later we headed home and spent the afternoon cooking and cleaning them. Yum....................!

I had no idea there was such a thing. (I grew up in Ohio where freezer burned fish came in a box from Mrs. Paul's.)

We used to go clamming a lot when I was a child. I still have a big scar on my left knee to remind me of those days. Oh yeh, almost cut off a toe on oyster beds. But it so worth it, lots of work, but good food as a reward and great memories.
