cuttlebug or sizzix

I have an original sizzix. It can use the embossing folders, but I'm thinking an actual cuttlebug machine might be better. Pros and Cons?

I have the original sizzix and I just bought myself a Cuttlebug. You can use the embossing folder in the original sizzix. The Cuttlebug cuts not only the Sizzix dies and the Bigz dies but dies from a lot of other companies too.

However, you already have the Cricut (don't you?) In fact, I think you mentioned that you have the Cricut Expression. There is a program available that you can use with your cricut to cut out anything. If I had a Cricut - that's probably what I would invest in, not another manual die cutting machine. The only advantage that I can see to the Cuttlebug is that is pretty portable (as compared to the original Sizzix). It folds and is much smaller (when folded) than the sizzix. But then you still have to carry all the dies you might want if you bring it out to a crop. I don't know what the Cricut weighs, but if you bring that you only have to bring the cartridges.

Any other ideas out there.

I have the original small cricut, but that only does cutting. Which is why I have a Cuttlebug too, I really like the embossing I can do with that. And remember those brass stencils where you needed a light box so you could emboss them? They work in the cuttlebug too! For me, they complement each other. I have no experience with any other die cutting or embossing machine but I'm happy with these too. ;)
