I went to the FB rules and regulations pages to check. There is nothing that says you can't charge. Other people had discussed it previously.pamcook wrote:I love all these!
Had to re-read Marianne's post. She's charging to join her FB group? What an insult! I can't imagine anyone charging to join a FB group. Didn't even know you could charge!

Re: Index Card A Day
Many classes that I have taken and paid for, have a private Facebook group for sharing. So, I guess, in essence, I'm paying for a Facebook group. Is that what you mean?
These cards are all a hoot and I commend you for your commitment.

No, there is no class, all the prompts are free on her blog. But to join the FB group and get a few other little things you have to pay $5.ScrappinJen wrote:Many classes that I have taken and paid for, have a private Facebook group for sharing. Four more cards.
1. Charcoal. Barbecue.
2. Ampersand. That old CS alphabet stencil has come in handy recently!
3. Perfume. Faux postage and die-cut lavender.
4. Kaomoji. I hadn't a clue what this meant, it seems to be cute Japanese faces!

What is the Facebook group?
Re: Index Card A Day
It looks like it is ICAD 2017 Daisy Yellow but according to her blog she has closed "registration" for the FB group. I do see lots of other people posting their cards on their own FB pages. I don't mind not seeing others so I can come up with my own ideas.jmp1022 wrote:What is the Facebook group?
Re: Index Card A Day
The next three.
1. Steampunk, die-cut cogs on a silver background streaked with black Stazon ink.
2. Roots, carrots made with a banner clear stamp and one that is supposed to be seaweed!
3. Onomatopoeia "Knock, knock" "Who's there?"

Re: Index Card A Day
Kathryn and Marianne - more great cards! I, too, am enjoying your different interpretations of the prompts. Good apple joke, Kathryn.
Re: Index Card A Day

Oh, love all the blues, Kathryn, and that moon!
Re: Index Card A Day
Week 6, July 6-12. I got behind on these when we ended our time in the UK and came home plus I found the prompts really uninspiring for this week. But here goes...
36. perfume-I don't like artificial scents-give me the smell of the salty North Atlantic anytime which really struck me when we went to Wales. It smelled just like the ocean at my home town in New Jersey.
37. emoji-wink, wink!
38. charcoal-charcoal pencil drawing of the edge of a crinkly leaf.
39. ampersand with text paper from a book about the alphabet's auxiliary marks.
40. steampunk-part of an ad for Hendrick's Gin which have great steampunk illustrations.
41. roots-did you know you can eat parsley roots?
42. onomatopoeia-text from an old children's book. oink, oink!

Parsley roots? No kidding? Go figure.
You always do a great job. These are no exception!

Oh it's good to see your slant on the daily prompts, Marianne! Parsley roots? My parsley never grows roots that big, these look more like Parsnips. Winter root vegetables, taste great roasted.
