Sue's ReCreate Challenge
Sue's ReCreate Challenge
Less Is More
I want to see white space. Make a scrapbook page, card, tag, journal page or anything else, but resist the urge to do lots of layering and embellishing.
I made a scrapbook page. This is my mom in 1986.
(The squiggle lines and the one at the top left of the photo are from Tim Holtz's new die set - Media Marks. Love it!)

Nice, clean page Sue! Uh oh, I might need that die set myself...

Sue your LO challenge is a great one. Perhaps more up my rarely-scrap-anything-alley. I really like your LO of your mom. Very cute of her. Is the greenish background streaks a stamp? I like it a lot. I have some older TH squiggle dies too...hmmm.

Yes, I used Distress Oxide ink and stamps from the Hero Arts Brush Strokes set.paddlegal wrote:Sue your LO challenge is a great one. Perhaps more up my rarely-scrap-anything-alley. Re: Sue's ReCreate Challenge
What is this concept you speak of?! That’s why they call it a challenge, correct? I might Scraplift your page just so that I can meet the challenge without blowing my mind!
Your page is seriously gorgeous.

That is a gorgeous page, Sue. Those sketchy Tim stamps are just the right accent.
Did you all know there is a blog for card making called "Less is More"? They offer challenges every month. http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/

Re: Sue's ReCreate Challenge
Good challenge Sue! I hope to maybe do a card and post. I totally forgot that you moved to NC. Good to have you on the East Coast. I hope you are all settled in now.
Sorry for the hijack, back to the thread now.

Okay. I did it and Mandee loves it. Whew!! Not easy for this Moar is Moar Girl. I love the minimal look - just have a lot of trouble making something I’m happy with.
