I'm on my 3rd attempt at my cards. The Silhouette wasn't cutting the heavy black cardstock I needed for the first idea.... and then I cut a bunch of things for a layered diecut focal point thing... and it was cutting parts of the pieces and then not other parts. I think it's the blade... so need to figure out where I stashed the new ones. So... I said bad words and switched to stamping and inking. Played with ink smooshing with Distress Oxides. And made some mists from my Perfect Pearls to splatter drops. (proud of myself for already gathering all those things ... and bought some mini-mister bottles to make the mists.. tada!!)

Hopefully the stamping turns out ok... gonna pull my hair out if it doesn't... LOL

My first one didn't turn out the way I wanted, so I switched. I can happily say that I now have 20 cards ready to mail. :tomato:

Sorry All. I shouldn't have signed up for a swap with everything else happening around here. I have to drop out.

Debi I hate when that happens. I think I better make sure I know where my spare blades are even though I’m not using the cutter for these cards. Meanwhile I finished my backgrounds last night. I love it when I’m making multiple cards I choose to do something with many steps.

Pam we understand. Taking one less thing to think about out of the pile is a good thing...take care of yourself please.

I've been searching everywhere for my Halloween postage stamps for three days. I found them a few months ago but for the life of me can't remember where - I was convinced that I'd remember. Guess everyone will have a flag instead of a pumpkin. Dratted things will probably show up again around Christmas.

My cards are done. They are in the envelopes and addressed. I will add a stamp and get them in the mail tomorrow.

I’m in a similar boat. I only had two left over halloween stamps from last year and I am smacking myself for not buying two sheets. I loved them. So there is a combination of birds, flowers and flags. I just hope that they show up. I sent a birthday card to my son’s girlfriend’s mom over a week ago. Hasn’t shown up and she only lives about 30 miles away. Crossing my fingers.
