What the heck is this?
What the heck is this?
I know it’s something important and I can’t throw it away and I’m pretty sure it’s scrapbook related in some way but what in the world is it and what does it go to?

Re: What the heck is this?
You think this is from some scrapping tool? I was thinking it was from an old telegram typing machine...dit, dot, dit dit... Very interesting!

Re: What the heck is this?
It was in a box of scrapbook stuff and I’m thinking it has something to do with a piece of a machine that has something to do with like a cutting tool.....don’t know. Just throwing it out here to see if anyone has an idea.
Re: What the heck is this?
I don’t know what I would be doing with a sewing machine attachment, but it might be. I think I’ll post it on Facebook and see if any body there has a clue.
Re: What the heck is this?
my first thought was also a piece from a sewing machine, also

Re: What the heck is this?
I'm also thinking from a sewing machine. My grandfather had an old Singer and I remember one of those on his machine at times.

It rather reminds me of a sewing machine presser foot lever. The grooved area would be upside down on the back of the needle area. My 2 cents.

Well, the sewing machine sounds like a logical finding. I used to have my grandma’s machine but I never ever used it and when we moved to AZ I donated it. Guess it’s safe to pitch it but I’ll check with my Facebook peeps first, thanks everybody.
Re: What the heck is this?
A friend on Facebook says it’s a utility knife clip, used to push the bland in and out of the knife.
Re: What the heck is this?
I think he’s right. It’s probably from an older knife Rod had.

Wow what an eye he has knowing what that was exactly! Now that I see it, it makes sense. Cool.

That's why it looked familiar, I couldn't place the
