Farley, I tell myself it’s good to just be in the moment sometimes.
Cara took one photo of the meal she cooked for us for Thanksgiving this year. Mandee did the same at their home. It was our first Thanksgiving together since Mia was 3 and I slept through it. Ugh. Not good memories.
My holiday photo fails are becoming worse and worse each year. I'm getting terrible about other stuff too like birthdays. I recently realized that I didn't take a single photo of Jake on his 15th birthday. Not one. And I don't have anything for 2019 either. I haven't taken photos at any of my nieces' or nephew's birthdays for the last few years either. What am I supposed to do with all of these Christmas and birthday kits I have???
I was halfway home when I realized we had both forgotten to take photos.
After getting to know Cara and the grandkids through Pam's scrapbook pages, it was so nice to meet them in person.
I seriously doubt that I took enough photos over the holidays to scrap 2 pages. I'm starting to wonder where I went because I'm not in the moment anymore.
