WAYYYYYY outside my comfort zone

Post by pamjoyeng »

I have to admit that I didn't sign up for this class at the LSS at first because the papers were WAYYYYYYYY outside my norm. I had to be in town yesterday and thought I'd see if Karla still had any openings and boy am I glad I went.

Staci was such a good teacher and made everyone feel at ease. She told us right off the bat that if we wanted to change anything that it was ours and to make it suit us. Also when cutting mistakes were made she worked with them to come up w/ alternative ideas.

As I was making the LO I had so many ideas for it run through my head and I had to come home and finish it before I could go to sleep (1:30am) LOL. I added glitter glue and prima flowers all over the place.

This LO is a collage of photos of my husband w/ our granddaughter over the last year.

Papers and stickers are from Bo Bunny's new Flirty line

One of the best things of these classes is the gathering of friends and making new friends.

Thank you. It was a BIG departure from my normal earthtones and muted colors. LOL

What great layouts - Grampas are good! I like the fun flowers and birds on the pages to make it look playful.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments.
My DH looked at it and said 'I like your regular style better.....not that I want to start scrapping with you" LOL

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one playing outside my comfort zone yesterday, Pam!
The colors do go really well with the photos.

Sometimes when we step so far out of our comfort zone, new avanues open up to us that we never even knew were there. Great job Pam!
