Genealogy -- Reminder about NGS

OK, you genealogy buffs who live in or near NC. NGS is in Raleigh in May this year. It's a once in a blue moon chance to attend a major genealogy conference without incurring airfare or rental car costs. Early registration closes March 31st.

There will be vendors selling books, maps, goodies and software. Also Ancestry will be there doing demonstrations and answering questions (or they have been in years past). That's free to the public and worth the drive from Franklinton.

Seminars, seminars! Learn about naturalization records, archives, NARA, strategies, techniques, software. Yup, the seminars cost.

I've registered for all 4 days and sure do hope to see some of my PAO sisters there, too!
