Bernie Berlin - Stencils
Re: Bernie Berlin - Stencils
LOL about the gesso! Too funny!
Love the rose - I've found that sometimes it seems like the color gets absorbed into the underlying color (hope that makes sense). Great idea to use the pen for details.

It wasn't at all funny last night!
Here are the stencils I did. The paper was already collaged with pinks. I used the Milestones stencil with blue paste and the Serengeti stencil with the previously mentioned gesso on the right. The only other paste that I had was tan on the left. I didn't like that so today when it was dry I sprayed it with white Memory Mist and that is much better. I would try this again as I like the stencil combo idea.
I probably should have sprayed it when it was wet last night to see what happened but I was in no mood for another mess. Previously to the gesso incident I had knocked one of those little Making Memories tins of tiny magnetic alphabets on the floor and they splashed about 5' in every direction.

Oh no!
Marianne - these are just so pretty. I hope your next project doesn't do more damage to your room!

those are cool marianne! i tried using putty (that i bought at a japanese hardware store) with my stencils a few weeks ago. it turned out great. that was, until it dried and i moved the paper. all the putty came off the paper. i wanted to cry! it looked so cool before it fell off!!!
Re: Bernie Berlin - Stencils
Michelle, that might be a cool way to create embellishments using stencils in interesting shapes...just do it on a craft sheet or scrap paper!
Re: Bernie Berlin - Stencils
Here is mine. Thanks Pam for pushing us to try new things! I too had my doubts about using sencils on such a small area. But I like the way it turned out.

Really like what you did with this Honey. These are for sure a challenge. I finally tried one but I did a card. I had this 'stencil' from a die that I cut for another project. Did the reverse thingie and made an Easter card. This is all Stampin' Up! Added Crystal Effect and dazzling diamonds to the 'tulip'
