Keitha, love this. And all the cards so far. Love monochromatic!

I'm knee deep in a card making project right now, plus I haven't taken down Christmas. Oh, my, golly, gee. But I'll get on this before February. I promise.

Wow Keitha! Those brusho colors are so vibrant. Laughing still at the sentiment. Thanks for playing. Super card.

Just to keep the ball rolling I'm posting my cards from Pam's challenge here too.

It's pretty amazing how just sticking to one color scheme can generate so many possibilities. Everyone's cards have been terrific and imaginative. Thanks for playing along. Let's keep it going.

Love that Keitha, and what a fun saying for that little bird!

Great Christmas cards Farley, I like how you made the tall cards and stamped the background trees.

The card panel was created using the Moroccan Spice stencil from Club Scrap and some Colorburst powders that I received at Christmas time. The stamp is from Celebrate. All supplies are from various Club Scrap POPs. Ribbon from Stratosphere.

Not sure I would use that particular sentiment for anyone other than a Club Scrap user. It could be taken in a wrong way. I like the script. I think I'll do some surgery on the rubber now. My hubby also doesn't like the way that D dips down. Surgery is definitely in order.

I like this challenge and hope to make some more for Valentines. And other challenges. I could put this in the Christmas gift challenge but I doubt our group is large enough nor active enough that double posting is necessary. Thanks for looking.

What a beautiful card, the Colourburst powders give a lovely effect. I agree with you about the sentiment :P
Kathryn.

Love the card. I also agree about the "old friend". I do like the way the d dips. How did you get the color bursts so neat?

Yeah, I have so little need for sarcasm when making cards. I do however like the font - but as you said, with some surgery, easily customized.
It's beautiful! I love the colors and pattern.

I don't see anything wrong with any of it-the font or the saying. You all are overthinking it!
Those color bursts really make a beautiful background.

How did I indeed, Cheryl?
I know I was using both the positive and negative impressions with the stencil. I'm thinking this was the negative? So the wet colorburst remaining on top of the stencil. And then I flipped it to make a monoprint or else laid the second piece of paper on top of the stencil. I did a bunch at one time. Can't recall each one. I should make notes. I do love the results.

Oh excellent card Jen! Those color burst colors you used are gorgeous. I do enjoy playing with the positives and negatives of stencils.

You're probably right. Just commiserating, I suppose. ;)

I'm way behind with the monthly card challenges! I used Distress inks, and watercolour pencils on the flowers. I'm still learning this app-resizing. Does it look OK?
Kathryn.

Yay Kathryn! It's never too late to play. What an elegant card. Love the ombre affect on the banners. Your photo is fine and great that I can see all the wonderful details of your card.
