That's why God created YouTube - so we'd know how to use the supplies we buy.

And Pinterest to give us ideas about what to do with them once we use them.

Great variety and a kick to use our embossing folders! I'm going to try them all!

I need a twelve step program. I bought six more embossing folders yesterday at Scrapbook Expo in Pleasanton.

I did check my Christmas supplies and I don't own a single Christmas folder but I can do Winter-eventually.

I thought she was crazy, but they were only $2 so she couldn't pass them up. I bought loads of enamel dots... $2 also. Great deals at Echo Park!

I managed to make 3 so far. Will try to do a couple more tomorrow. I've become more comfortable with the folders, so now I'm ready to experiment.

Another great challenge Jen, and fabulous cards from both you and Pam. I thought I'd mention a Tim Holtz trick here: he takes an X-acto knife and cuts a slit in the fold of the embossing folder still leaving it attached at the sides; that way you can insert a tag or longer piece of cardstock into the folder, if you need to. I know he's got a video about it on his blog.

I'm making some birthday cards this month. If I find my Christmas folder, I'll make a set with it as well.
This is using my new stamp & die set. I just love it.

I know I have a Chrustmas folder!
This might be my compromise. I have several chipboard images and this would be a good was to use them.

Pam C. your cards are very pretty! You don't have to use a Christmas folder to make Christmas cards.
I am working on mine but some need time to dry.
