Debi your cards are wonderful! I really like that stamp you used and bonus points for digging up an old one that's a NBUS! Well done!

Those are lovely, Debi. The mats and ribbon really set off the stamping.

I've made quite a few for this challenge this week but this is the only one complete at this time. These are the NBUS Stampin' Up stamps I mentioned which had never seen ink. They are dated 2001. The rubber is purple so it must have been some special release. Anyway, I loved them enough to buy them but evidently loved them too much to get them dirty. I needed to make a card for a SU person so I finally got them inky. I like this challenge but I am personally challenged by it. I never seem to know where to place my random images. I guess there isn't much random about me. I'm very happy with the results so I guess I need to give in to randomness once in awhile. Thanks for the push.

Jen, its a very pretty card! I don't do random either. I have to look at a completed example and it's all I can do to not measure for image placement. So, I do appreciate the effort you put into this card!

Jen it got a oooh from me at first glance. It's wonderful and your SU person should be delighted receiving an SU vintage stamped card.

Great card, she'll love it!

I learned this once at a card class regarding random stamping. Let me see if I can phrase it so you understand me,
Think in triangles.
Stamp one image, then the second and the third to make basically a triangle.
Then sort of proceed in this manner to fill the paper.

I think you did good randomly stamping those hearts!

Triangles are a good idea. I'll try another one. I foolishly signed up for PSL again so I'm hoping to be quite productive for awhile. Hoping is the operative word there.

Nancy or anyone else, would it be better to stamp the sentiment and then mask it so some of the hearts would be incomplete in the middle? I guess I could use that design Jenny Mac taught us using a strip of masking tape at an angle across the card panel. Can't explain so I guess I'll just make one.

Soon to be made into cards. I had fun playing with my Wednesday paper friends and besides a few other things made these four panels for this challenge. I think my favorite is the paperclip/pushpin card. Now to turn them into something!

Jen, very cool randomness!

Farley, fun backgrounds. I'm going to play with some more this weekend.

I am so happy that I stuck with what I started today. I made the 4 backgrounds into cards. Some more elaborate than others.

First the cloud stamp...I added my Ibis stamp then added matching cloud die cuts and pagoda from KaiserCraft's new Hanami Garden. Love this new collection and you'll be seeing more of it soon. More on that later.

Next is the coffee cup background (recognize this DebbieB?). I stamped the sentiment again, cut it out and adhered it shadow style over the original sentiment using foam tape and added a few jewels to the cups.

Third card is the paper clip group. I like the background but my sentiment label is too big I think. A banner would be better. I may pull it off and try again. The sequins I added are invisible in this photo.

Last one of the glasses. Just coincidence that I had card stock that matched the inks. That was not planned. I like the sentiment..."it's clear to see" inside it says "you were meant for me". Two unrelated stamp and die sets ended up working well together.

Fabulous cards, Farley. It's good to see how you added to your stamped backgrounds, with such stunning effect. Love the colours too!
Kathryn.

That spectacles card is too darn cute. I like the paper clips, too.
