Thanks Pam. I am surprised at how into this class I have gotten. The below LOs are the last 2 of the 3 assignments we have for our first week.

First LO is about hidden journaling when you have a lot to say and not enough room or just don't want to have journaling be the main focus of the LO. "The Story" is a PL card that slides out from behind the smaller base. PL cards were used for the matting and the die cut feathers.

The next two LOs are actually the same LO. It is an "interactive" grouping. The first is the LO in the closed position. Cards were taped onto the edge of the 12x12 base to form flaps that open to reveal journaling or photos. I like the result well enough but not likely to do that again, LOL.

Now I know what I can do with the leftover PL cards when I finish these albums.

All of these Scrapping Outside the Pocket layouts are fabulous, Pam and Farley. So creative and inventive! Great use of supplies.

I had to jump in here and post at least one of my layouts for the class Farley "lured" me into taking. I'm in scrapbook mode now anyway and just ordered a set of pocket cards from CTMH so I'm in the mood. The cards used here are from my one and only paper kit called Chalkboard from We R Memory Keepers. Unlike Ms. Farley, who does her homework properly and in line with the assignments, I'm just throwing things together in order to qualify. I really have to incubate my ideas for awhile before executing. A classroom situation doesn't allow me the time I evidently require. Anyway, done is better than perfect and it's just one layout of the many I have on the schedule for my South Dakota trip. Thanks for looking. Please be kind.

The Lurer here says WOW! You know I love the combo. Plus I love the subject too. Those "talking heads" are hilarious though I am sure that wasn't the sculptor's intent.

Another reason I am liking the whole Pocket Style scrapping is that I realize it lends itself to card making as well. So this is encouraging me to scrap again while it's feeding my addiction of card making all in one. How ideal is that?

The pink outlined panel is a 3x4 PL "Jade" card. I added the Thank You, leafy weeds and of course the little girl done with Copics.

They really are very versatile. Love the card Farley and Jen - the layout is pretty danged cool. The talking heads are a bit creepy.

I have 4 sets of PL cards if anyone would like to buy half of one set or all, let me know.
