I haven’t had any pets since about 1986! But I get a call from Charley two weeks ago, “Hi mom. Um, Leigh Ann and I just walked over to the animal shelter near our house “just to look”. Fell in love with two brothers. We can’t keep them for a week until the lease is signed on the house. I don’t suppose you could keep them until then?” Well how could I say no. I knew if I did they’d lose those those two. I totally shocked Charley when I said yes.
Well it is now 2 weeks and today the kids will pick them up. I’ll miss them but I can visit and I know if they go out of town, catgramma will keep them.
Meet Ezio (sitting up) and Jay. They are 5 month old, identical twin brothers. They were already fixed and microchipped and vaccinated. It was a 2 for the price of one deal that weekend. LOL. I can now tell the difference in appearance and definitely in personality. Note the clipped right ears. That marks them as feral cats. Ezio is the more skittish but lets me pet and scratch him. Jay now lets me pick him up and scratch him on my lap. Both have beautiful purrs.

Ezio and Jay are gorgeous, Farley. I dont know if ear-tipping is a thing up here, is never heard of it before nor have I ever seen any cats with clipped ears - but from what I'm reading it's a good program. I miss having a cat.
