February 2009 Monthly Scrapbooking Challenge

Had to try this, cause I was so sorry to have missed this challenge last month. So this is a digi LO-- totally not my comfort zone type LO--I used paper from SunnyDance kit, elements from other kits; embossed the horsefly rocker element and used a heart or two.
This weekend we had the grandkids over on Saturday, and tried to get some yard work done. We asked JD to climb up on the roof to throw off the twigs and branches blown down in last storm. This is so out of the usual for him, and you could see how freeing it was for him to face a fear and overcome it. Grabbed the camera and got a couple of good shots of him hamming it up.

It is so gratifying to see you all making this challenge so personal-whatever it is that gets you out of your comfort zone. And there are still almost 3 weeks to go in the month!!

Here's my entry... Ok, outside my comfort zone... pink... I don't think I've EVER done a pink layout, at least not this pink!!!
There is a heart, and the edges of it are embossed with white, so I got both of those elements as well.
