I played today! You can really lose track of time when having so much fun printing. I have plenty for the swap and for me. But I'll still play lots more before time to send for swap. Then I'll have plenty to chose from when I send them off to new homes. Great way to get back grounds for AJ'S pages so you don't face that dreaded white page. Also love to cut them up and use in collage, tags, canvases, cards and scrapbook pages. So much fun!
My Gelli Plate came today Tomorrow after work is going to be PLAY DAY!!!!!!! And, we're supposed to have snow this weekend so I may have lots of time to play then. I've got a pile of stencils and paper ready to go.
I'm addicted. I've been playing for the last couple of hours and have a stack of pages and will do more tomorrow. For me there was a little bit of a learning curve, but once I got the hang of it, I couldn't stop. I did a couple on patterned cardstock (CS) and really like the look, so I want to try more of those.
I did some on book text and on sheet music. I saw where someone did gelli prints on phone book pages. I think that would be a cool effect too. I still really like the deli paper ones. They are great for tearing and collage.
