New Swap!!!!! Gelli Prints due to me April 30th

Here are my efforts of the day.
First I monoprinted some papers on a glass plate just to try it. Not very successful so all of those vague efforts were then used on the gelli plate.
Here is my "studio". I'm really glad I save any packing paper that comes into the house.

Here are some of the backgrounds I did. You can't see much, There are leaves and flowers and random marks on these and they'll probably go back over the plate again. See that bright blue one with the orange circles, that is on vellum. It curled up immediately it got wet on the plate so I thought it was a dud but I left it and it straightened out later.

This was a lot of fun! I'm breaking up the plate which I made 8.5 x 11" and going to redo it so that it is level and contained in a smaller tray.

Very cool. I tried parchment paper and it did the same thing, but it stayed curled so it got tossed.

Yeah, I was counting full sheets and got to 20 quickly then realized we only send half a sheet so I got to keep some of the "good" ones, too. Sadly, all of it didn't make much of a dent in my purge paper pile
