Some recent cards

Before I could think about clustering, I had a few cards to make for challenges over at CS. I couldn't manage to cluster on them so here they are. Lest you think all I do is sit around watching baseball. Oh, no, not me.

The first one is for my little sister who recently lost her pooch Max. He was a Lab but my girl was a Cairn. So this little hybrid card is telling her that they are now playing together in Doggie Heaven.

In addition to losing her dog, Chrissie gained a new home. They closed on Friday and are busy moving in this week. I think this is a good thing because the new home won't have any memories of Max to make her sad. So this is a little housewarming card I made for her based on the CS sketch for April. Dies are from Technique Tuesday.

And one more for today. The technique Challenge at CS this month is Stained Glass. I had made this circular element a few months ago during a Colorburst challenge and never did anything with it. After applying Colorburst to watercolor paper, I embossed the piece in a folder and then inked the raised part. I think it looks a bit like stained glass.

So now, back to baseball. Or scrapping. Depending.......oh, I forgot. Gotta make that cluster card.

Love them Jen. Sorry about Chrissie loosing her dog, happy for the new home.

I see some Raku in that one. That was a kit I really loved.

Lovely cards, Jen! The stained glass technique has worked out well. I saw that challenge on CS this month and thought it looked fun. I like the way you have stuck the circles onto the background paper and then embossed the whole thing. I've never thought of doing that!
