Colored pencil on dark cardstock
Colored pencil on dark cardstock
I used these two different stamps... copper embossed the images and then used Prismacolor pencils to color/shade the images..
These are examples... I made a dozen or so...

Those are stunning. I had no idea colored pencils would show up so well on dark paper.
Re: Colored pencil on dark cardstock
Debi I am gasping at how gorgeous these are. They all turned out beautifully. I will get my Prismacolor pencils to work.

This is the video I watched. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mGc2TYZ1D_c
Also had to change how I colored. Need to use a lighter hand and color multiple layers to get deeper color. Qualifying a heavy hand wears down the tooth of the paper and then the color doesn't do the blending.
And prismacolor pencils will work. Not sure what other brands but these are more waxy, apparently.

Yes...Yana! I follow her and watched this when she posted it. She’s done several with this technique. Gorgeous.

Lovely cards, Debi. You have far more patience for colouring that I do; I'd be hard-pressed to get one done.

Judy - you made something similar on our first beach trip. Did you use white pen as well?
It's a gorgeous technique.
