Pieces of Me--a Cancer Treatment Journal
Pieces of Me--a Cancer Treatment Journal
This is the art journal I made documenting my journey from diagnosis through radiation therapy treatment for Acinic Cell Carcinoma in my right salivary gland. January 20 will be my 2 year anniversary of the end of treatment. Diagnosis was in October 2006. The journal is very personal and was a very cathartic experience for me to create. I actually enjoy looking through it once in awhile as it is very difficult to remember everything that was happening in the moment. I hope this either helps or inspires anyone who goes through a similar experience to find the strength to fight and keep their treatment a positive experience.

Rachelle, thank you for sharing your journey to healing. I plan to share with a friend from church. She has been taking photos of her niece's journey to healing as well. This is great inspiration both naturally and spiritually.
Thank you,
