Kathy's Triangle scrapbook page challenge

To make this you only need two pieces of 12 x 12 paper. One double sided patterned and one that is cardstock.

It looks complex but is super easy and takes less than 10 minutes. Check out this video for instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZYT7cR ... e=youtu.be

I kept the embellishments to a minimum as to not take away from the folded triangles.

What did you use for your card photos? They look great!

I don't use a phone or a resizer to post here so can't help with it but others can when they see your message. You can also search here on the forum, search box at the top right under the header. I know it's been discussed several times.

Really nice Kathy! That technique gives the page interesting depth and texture without taking focus away from your photo.

I like this! I wonder if I have any extra 12 x 12 papers with me that will work...

No clue what photo/s I'll put on this, but I wanted to try the technique so here's my background. I have way too many unused 6x6 paper pads so decided to see what was there and came across the plaids which I've barely used. A couple notes: the pattern calls for one 12x12 paper which gives you four 6x6 squares to start. This paper pad had 3 of each design; I may have inadvertently bought 2 of these so have plenty, but as the plaids came in both diagonal and straight versions decided I'd use the 3 diagonal pieces for the triangles and the straight version for the middle - which if I turn kitty-corner will match the triangles. Make sense? Although single-sided papers I'm happy with the white alternating, and chose a coloured cardstock so there wasn't too much white. Here's my other thought: the tutorial had you flipping over each triangle as you went. If I make another one I think I'd use all A sides around the first outside row, and then all B sides in the second middle row. Turning back the corners will still give you alternating triangles but in a more symmetrical pattern.

Very fun and quick technique. Thanks for the challenge, Kathy.
I don't like the way the colors are photographing - the patterned paper is more of a smoky blue, rather than gray
