Making A mini book
supplies:
2 decorative cover papers cut 2 3/4 x 4 3/4"
2 interior decorative papers 2 1/4 x 3 1/2
2 pieces of chipboard/bookboard cut 2 3/8 x3 3/4"
outside spine (my example it is grey) 2 3/4 x 4 3/4
inside spine 3 1/2 x 3 3/4
inside pages 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" (I used 4 pieces for 8 pages)
needle and 12" of thread
fold inside spine and inside pages in half

lay inside pages inside the inside spine.
pierce at 1/2 inch mark from top & bottom and center of pages
Take your needle and thread
start inside center and go out to the back
bring needle up and come in from the back to center on the top hole and bring needle to the bottom hole going out to the back
Bring back in through center hole and tie in knot
trim ends

Take all pages and flip to one side leaving the inside spine still down on workspace.
Apply glue to the inside spine leaving 1/4 inch space to the fold. Place the bookboard on top of the inside spine
do this to both covers

take outside spine & gently crease in half.
apply glue to side covering the book.
center book on it and push down--you will have paper at top & bottom

carefully tuck the top and bottom overhang pieces under your pages and glue

take your outside cover paper and apply glue to back side. carefully place on book board about 1/2" from spine---leaving some of the grey
fold the 3 hanging edges to the inside mitering the corners to get a good fit

do this for the back cover as well.
Take your inside cover papers and glue in place covering up all raw edges
