using acetate for cards

I picked up a copy the British mag.'cardmaking & papercraft' yesterday and they are showing some gorgeous cards using acetate stamped with staz-on. Do any of you make cards from acetate? Where do you get it?

Graphix sells acetate pads in different weights. I usually order from Joann.com, but I think Michaels and hobby lobby would have them in the art section.

I use packaging when I need it - I just rarely need it...

You can buy sheets of it - but mostly I recycle! It works too, you just have to find a piece large enough and clean - but I usually do.
