And now that you're going "what?!" I used the CS from the Papollon kit, and a stamp from my collection (I'd post which company but I'm posting from work). I made this for the monthly card sketch challenge @ CS earlier this month and just got around to actually taking a picture to psot! lolz! Image is colored with Smooch inks.

Monica---that is really gorgeous! I love the affect you got with the smooch on the bottles! Mine are still sitting on the counter! lol

I used as many Smooch colors as I could to justify buying all of them over the last year. ;) I really like the effect I got with the bottles, but I have to tell you it was purely by accident.... that's just the way the applicators colored them! I used a white matte coated paper to stamp on, which I think takes the Smooch inks better than other types of cardstock. Now get those Smooch paints out and create!!

Yup.... gonna be broke ;)

Looks like fingernail polish, what kind of applicator does it have?

Pointed flexible tip.... works fairly well and there are no brush fibers to potentially end up on your art. The pearlescent part makes them uber-cool! It's kind of like the shimmer from Twinks in a nail polish bottle.

Wow Monica - that coloring is fantastic! Are the bottles using 2-3 colors each? Your shading is really great. I can't seem to hand-color anything and get the shading right. LOL.

I have not found any occasion where I've fallen in love with smooch. I got several different bottles from Swirlydoos, but since I don't do a lot of hand coloring, and that applicator colors such a tiny little area at a time, I just don't bother with it. I also don't gravitate to stamps that are meant to be colored in. Maybe I'd use more smooch if I were doing more coloring. That stamp you used is a perfect stamp for using smooch.

Most of the shading was created by the applicators when I was coloring the bottles, but I did aplpy a second layer of color for additional shading. I have way more floral stamps than I want to admit to, and I decided that I needed to start pairing them up with the Smooch inks to justify the expenses.... like the money wasn't already spent or something. All I can tell you with the Smooch inks is that they are not meant to color in large areas, and they will probably leave streaks whether you want them to or not. It does give a bit of natural-looking appearance to this card. ;)

I'm another one who bought Smooch and haven't used it. I really like that result, Monica -- thanks for inspiring us.
