Mom's a crafter!!!!!!!!!!!

I asked my mom if she would like to follow along with Donna Downey's March canvas video and she said she would give it a try. Here's the canvas she made and I think she did a marvelous job. She wanted a small one, so it is a 6x6 canvas. (Mine is posted in the March lottery thread).

She did great! It looks like she's finding an outlet for her grief, which is fantastic. How are you guys adjusting? I've not been following along for a while, so I'm sorry I probably missed some updates. Did she move out there with you permanently?

Thanks everyone -- I'll pass the kudos on to mom. She really seemed to enjoy doing it. Julie, she's doing really well. She has a couple more follow up doctor appointments and some dental work that needs to be done and then she should be as good as new. In a couple of weeks we will start looking at retirement centers out here, then go back to Missouri around the end of May and get the house on the market.

I have to admit that after 30 some years of not having my mommy close by, I'm really enjoying having her here, but we both really miss dad.
