I got this beautiful journal from my hubby last year, and haven't used it yet...
The inside papers are handmade..
I've decided to make an art journal, I think it's perfect!
Sooooo, my question: If I use Dylusions inks, etc. on them, will they fall apart? Or am I ok to do what I want.. ???

There's only one way to find out! But, seriously, some handmade paper has the sizing in it and will hold together ok. I would layer waxed paper or something thick under the pages you are working on so it doesn't go through to the other pages. Start with a light hand with the sprays and inks until you see how it goes.

Maybe Kelli will have some better advice, she has made paper more than I have.

My best guess is that they'll be okay. Water does change paper texture but it generally makes it stronger, right? I think about how I've used old book paper to make embellishments. I cut them out and then mist them with sprays or just water and they are sturdier.
Let us know!

Going to try it tonight! Marianne, I thought about putting something underneath each piece as I do it, but then I thought, when I go to the next page, it will be partially started for me, lol! So I might just let it go... I think I'm going to dry with heater as I go, just in case ;)

Look what came in my email!

Not sure if it's handmade paper, but definitely going to use her tips!

Theresa,
Dyan is big on art journaling so I'm thinking you're pretty safe with her stuff. Of course, there's always that chance...but I would think you'll be okay...
