Gelli Print Project

I made a little project with one of my Gelli prints today.
I started with a piece of wallpaper border like this ......

Added a few pieces of tissue tape and Gelli printed it with sand and deep blue acrylic paints. Then I glued it to a small clip board that I removed the original clip from, added some more tissue tape, printed tissue paper and a little distress ink. Inside the wire heart are dried and pressed flowers.

I can't get a good picture, but I really like the way this turned out.

That's very pretty. Don't you love it when it comes together like you wanted it to.

It's lovely, Sue, what was the wire heart before it came to rest there?

Thank you, everyone. Marianne, the heart was two identical pieces hinged together, kind of a heart cage (maybe a Christmas ornament). It was one of those things I found at the thrift store that said take me home and figure out what you'll do with me later

I love those things that call out your name to take them home.

How did you attach the heart? I love that door hinge too.
