July 2012 Card Sketch Challenge
Re: July 2012 Card Sketch Challenge
Nice card Jill. (and nice star punch too!!)
Re: July 2012 Card Sketch Challenge
Paula, Jill, you two blow me away with these cool cards. And soooo quickly, too. Love these cards. Glad you used the hearts. I really didn't mean to make you feel you HAVE to be literal in your interpretation. So it's great to see the hearts.
Thanks for playing.

Nice cards! Fun Sketch!

Here is my card. A bit busy, now that I look at it. I used a few OLDER than the hills, things from my stash as well.

That's really cool, Pat! Are the stars and hearts plastic, stickers, or what? They look translucent and I really like it.

Thank you everyone!
They are ancient old vellum Sticko Stickers. I'm almost embarrased to admit.mpizzazz wrote:That's really cool, Pat! Are the stars and hearts plastic, stickers, or what? They look translucent and I really like it.

Pat, do not be embarassed. It is great to use our stash. That is my focus for 2012.
Re: July 2012 Card Sketch Challenge
I got cards done!!! Not only that... it's all stash! I used the CM star punches I bought a long time ago, dug some Concrete Jungle papers for the card, used a patterned DIC matte for the punches stars, played with some TH embossing folders, and topped it all off with some Distress ink for that nice aged look. It ended up being very industrial grunge-looking. It was a fun challenge!! I took a picture of these on my crafting table with the light streaming through the sliding glass doors in this morning, which is why it's a bit weird with shadows.
