2015 FEBRUARY CARD SKETCH CHALLENGE
2015 FEBRUARY CARD SKETCH CHALLENGE
This month's sketch is all about BOLD FOCAL POINTS. I know in your stash you've got at least one very bold stamp that takes over an entire card. Let's see what you can do with it. My card shows many layers of assorted prints but the bold clock really stands out from everything else. You'll notice I used a heart for the focal point in the sketch just in case you have some Valentines to make still. I sure do.
Have fun with this and remember to make it your own.
The sketch and then my interpretation:
I used Graphic 45 French Country paper for the layers and Unity Retro Mod Clocks for my bold focal point. The clock (which was scanned, printed and cut on my KNK) is colored with Copics and Wink of Stella around the clock face but it doesn't show in this photo at all. I wasn't sure if this graphic clock would work well with the vintage look of the G45 paper but I had to try this. My next try of this sketch I may do as a much needed Valentine.

Very cool. Good kit killing!
I happen to have a heart or two to use. Thanks for making it easy on me.

Omg! I love that clock with the background paper - I thought it was a kit. Mad copic skills as well.
Outstanding!

Here is my first contribution to the sketch. I used the February stamp from TSOL along with their Love Story Card kit papers. Cardstock is Club Scrap. I would not have any use for this month's stamp set except for the fact that my stepdaughter is a bona fide cat lady. This particular Valentine will be directed to all four of the grandkitties. There will be another cat-themed Valentine for my stepdaughter. Thanks for looking.
Oops. Just noticed there's no shimmer. Sorry.

Jen your card is truly fabulous! Great paper combos. Glitz is not necessary. Grandkitties will be purrrrrrring over it.

Here's my card for the month. I cut the cupid out with the silhouette.

Love the focal point. Cupid is one of my favorite motifs.

Oh wow Debbie this is terrific! And a double-header...bold focal point and you used your cutter as well. Bonus points for that. I like how you cut two out to semi-shadow Cupid. Awesome.
