2017 Project Life card Challenge - January
2017 Project Life card Challenge - January
Thought I'd go ahead and post for January since this promises to be a crazy busy week.
My challenge is to use a minimum of five cards to frame your photo(s). I used 8 on this page plus another to punch out a circle to outline Chris & family. Feel free to use this "sketch". It's rather quick and easily adaptable to use a 5x7, or two landscape, or four 2x2, or a 4x6, or a 4x4 picture(s).
The cards I pulled out. These are some of the oldest in my stash (bonus!). Remember to consider using one of your cut-apart sheets or even scraps.
If you'd rather do a card, my challenge is to use a minimum of 3 cards to frame your main element. On my card, I used two 4x6 and one 3x4.

Great use of the cards, Pam!
Re: 2017 Project Life card Challenge - January
Very pretty. Maybe I can figure this out after all.
Re: 2017 Project Life card Challenge - January
I'm sure you can, Pam! Think of them as scraps of paper to layer. Most of my PL cards are stored with my scraps by color unless they have specific themes like Travel or Christmas, etc.pbp908 wrote:Very pretty. Maybe I can figure this out after all.

Pam - it's one of those "don't over think it" deals. If you get stumped, we can help. I realized that my eye liked the repetition of color. Tried monochromatic at first but that yellow kept wanting to join in.

This is oldest granddaughter, Caitlin with her radiology class at Casper College. She's the reason I can't come to ReCreate!! She graduates in May and I'm excited for her to see where she goes from here.
I used one 4x6 and 5 3x4's.

I really like the way you were able to use the cards with phrases on them, Debbie!

This is what I was thinking also. I love the "you are such a gem" quote. Great colors too. WTG Debbie!

Cute picture of Greg and Arlo from earlier this year.
I used a few large and small cards to meet the requirement.

Bonus points for Debbie! I love that you used the stamp!
Pat - you get bonus points for using the card with the cut out circles. I never know what to do with them and now I know. I'm so happy you jumped in on this challenge!
