Re: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge -- March
Call me brain dead, but what is CAS?
Re: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge -- March
Clean and Simple, Pam. I think.
Love this one, Nancy. I've already started on mine using Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide. For which there is evidently a learning curve.

Re: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge -- March
Yes - sorry about that. CAS means "clean and simple"
Here are my samples! Green, Spring and Sequins for the shamrock card. Butterfly, Spring and a tag for the other card including the use of the sketch.

Re: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge -- March
Well, Pam beat me to asking what CAS is.... so now I'd like a definition.....

Clean and simple is CS style scrapping - not much layering or embellishments, clean design and simple LO. Christy definitely doesn't do CAS, nor does Pam. Sometimes I do but generally not. I hope that makes sense.

L O L Pam. I too wondered about CAS. Your definition is wonderful.pbp908 wrote:Clean and simple is CS style scrapping - not much layering or embellishments, clean design and simple LO. Christy definitely doesn't do CAS, nor does Pam. Sometimes I do but generally not. I hope that makes sense.
CAS is rather my style, as the embellishing gene passed me by.

Green (sort of)...tag...flowers. 2 PL cards! I kinda used that sketch as well.
Arlo and Oliver having breakfast at DisneyLand.
Oliver turned 4 on Feb. 8th, and he had an extra special birthday in California...as did his Dad on Feb. 11th. Doug said Oliver had birthday celebrations all month long...and Doug is glad it is now March!

Very sweet layout. Those little boy faces are adorable.
Re: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge -- March
What a lovely photo, Pat. I like your colours, the gold and the unexpected touches of pink and turquoise.

Thank you ladies for your kind words. Love that you can capture and use pictures from FB. That paper is from Paper Wishes, and is a feather themed set.

Re: Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge -- March
I warned you that you would be seeing more of this cactus die set. This was made for the Getting Messy PSL challenge. I used Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink to make the panels on Bristol and then spritzed with some Golden Opal Twinkling H2O's. The card base and FLOWERS are from CS Generations. Sentiments from CS Succulents. I'll try not to let this design wear out its welcome.
Tic Tac Toe = shaped card (you did that just for me???), sequins and raspberry flowers. Thanks for the challenge.

Great take on the sketch Pat, and using those PL cards! The boys are so cute... I bet Disney was fun.
Jen, love that card! I think my tic-tac-toe was already planned before your cactus die purchase, serendipity

Two Christmas cards and one of them "fits" this challenge. The card on the left is based off of the shaped card, flower and sequin row.
