For the Project 365~I'm sticking w my 12x12 format and planning on 2pg los/week. I can see that I might have alot of hidden journaling. I prefer seeing larger pics that you can get w 30-31 on 2 pages
Re: January 2009 Monthly Scrapping Challenge
Thanks so much for this challenge! I love how this page turned out and never would have gone in this direction without the guidelines. I started with a piece of cream cardstock and applied the tim holtz ransom alphabet mask to spell hope. I spritzed "frosty" glimmer mist all over the page. I used my brand new QK bird die and cut some birds from a cream colored pop. On the journaling block, I put my "I voted" sticker and some very old Mrs. Grossman sticker strips. It's hard to see, but I wrote the Emily Dickenson poem in white by the birds. (It says "hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune - without the words - And never stops at all."). The picture is of chilled champagne on election night. The picture of the Obamas with that amazing quote are from an alumni magazine.
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful layout, Rinda! I love seeing the old stickers that people are dragging out breathing new life into them. Clever use of the mask to get the letters you wanted, and I didn't order that one yesterday with my Christmas gift cert

Rinda, That's beautiful. The birds with HOPE really works for me!
Re: January 2009 Monthly Scrapping Challenge
Here's my entry. Time and space print, Asian Artisan stripe print, Cyprus solid (that's the one I altered with the mask). I cut out a flower mask on my Cricut and sprayed three colors of GM. ON the tag I used another Cricut die cut and sprayed with GM. Stickers are from at least 06. Newe tool was the Glimmer Mist.
