November 2021 Christmas Card and Crafts
November 2021 Christmas Card and Crafts
November! How is that possible? I started out making a few cards using tags as the focal point. But then I got carried away and thought, why not a banner too?
Grab premade tags, or die cut them and add a pile of those leftover holiday stickers, chip board and stamps including sentiments. Don’t forget to glitz it up with sequins, Stickles and other bright and shiny objects.
For the cards I used The Greetery Sped Tag stamp and die set plus optional embellishments and layered on patterned card stock and then on a white card base.
I used the same tag stamp set for the banner plus alpha dies to create the “Merry Christmas” - one letter per tag. Will work out soon how I want to string them together. I would love suggestions from you all on your ideas of how you would string them together. Plus, draped on a tree or hanging from a window?
Happy to be back with you all.

Welcome back Farley. Great cards! I say string your tags on a thick ribbon or on a yard stick.

Yep... it's crazy.... November already! The tags are great!! I've got lots of tag dies that I can use, too... I'll see what I can come up with!

They’re all beautiful!
I immediately thought of hanging a group of tags on my kitchen window curtain rod except my curtains are a pocket style instead of tabs. Another idea would be to bring in a branch from the yard and somehow hand it in front of the kitchen curtain. Or a piece of garland?
These will be fun to make with the grandkids. I’m going to pull out my bin, make my JYC kit and the rest will be up for grabs for them to use.
It’s so good to hear from you.

Take a string of lights and put the tags on the lights with a small clothes pin.

Great ideas everyone
Nancie I think you’ve got a winner idea that I could handle! Thought of lights but not how to attach them. The clothes pins are perfect!

Love, love, love your tags, Farley! A string of lights & small clothes pins sounds perfect Nancie - how fun will this be?
Find time each day to rejoice in the journey...

I love this idea! I had a pack of ephemera from my Echo Park Nov. card kit that worked perfectly. The “Be Joyful” card was from a 12” x 12” page of cards. This was fun, thanks for the push, Farley! I want to make more, but I’m afraid I need to work on something else for now…maybe later.

For some reason, this dancing gnome didn’t want to attach to my previous message…
