My resolution is:

to read my Bible more (I would like to read through the whole Bible in a year)
to loose this extra weight
and to find an exercise I like doing (being a little more active)

Laurie, great way to think of it. Find an exercise (or activity) that you like to do. That was my goal and I had a lot of success with it. I ended up changing my entire activity level.

My goal(s) for this year? Survive a move and use up stash.

My goal is to drop some weight by being more active - park further away from the office, take the steps, etc. and to use some of this stash. This place is looking more and more like Hobby Lobby.

Hey Jean,
What was the activity you found that you like to do, besides paper?

I've long known that I love to lift weights. I just put time in the gym into the schedule. But I also used to love to roller skate, ice skate, ride a bicycle and walk.

Cheryl, We'd be moving to Richmond VA. Having grown up in the DC suburbs of MD and Northern VA, Richmond is a large mental leap for me.

I am in hopes of loosing some weight also. I had been walking but between the weather and the holidays that kind of went by the wayside. I plan on cutting back on sweets for sure (after the 4th of January that is)

I have two basic goals - one I always work on: eat healthier; and one that is new this year: try to get our taxes done in a more timely fashion instead of waiting until the last minute - to that end, I have been organizing our receipts, etc. most of the year and feel that as soon as we get our tax info from our employers and make an appointment with our accountant, this goal will be reached!

drink more water

exercise more (one that I like would be good too)

slow down and stop trying to do everything (destress)

live life, it is to short ---people that you want to spend time with one day, maybe be gone by the time you get around to taking the time.

yes, I am in a reflecting mood right now - Lost my Grandmother on Christmas Day

Hope, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Did she live close by?

I want to lower my expenses by eating at home more, increase my activity level and watch less TV (My name is Pam and I'm addicted to HGTV...).

Yes, She was in a nursing home here in Louisburg. She had Alzheimer's for about 15 years. We were told the week before Chrsitmas that it would happen soon, so we were not surprised.

So sorry to hear about your Grandmother. Expected or not, it is still a great loss.
