OMG, that's a tough one, Luanne. I'm going to have to ponder that.

Here is mine. Digi. Truth-- I feel like Alice, in a world that doesn't always make sense, and I am always searching for what I think should be.

Re: 'truth' challenge
That is really cool Holly! I'm sitting here thinking about how I can reproduce it on paper . . . I saw some tutorials online today and think it's totally doable.
Re: 'truth' challenge

Re: 'truth' challenge
Haven't done a digital layout in a year (had to download the latest PSE again, and learn all over)...what a challenge!
I took these photos at the beginning of the year, when I thought I might be able to do the 365 photos thing. I don't think I got past day 3!

WOW, Holly amazing page
Ink Pattie, I'm still laughing at your
journaling.Love the background Gnome,
where did you ever find it?
I'm not sure I know myself well
enough to say what other folks don't
know about me. LOL I'll have to give
this some thought.

Re: 'truth' challenge
Both gnomes are from my front yard (there are others...). The one on the left, I trimmed away all of the photo to his right, and made him about 50% transparent and put him along the side of the page. I had more trouble with resizing and placing things than with cool effects like drop shadows and transparency!
The gray paper is from From the Heart, which is the only digi kit I have purchased (for a digi on-line event about a year ago). I also have the two free ones (Retro and Let me Count the Ways), but went with plain gray. I would have preferred a background of grass and ferns, and I may even have a freebie paper like that, but most of the freebies I have downloaded remain in their zipped form, and I did enough unzipping and downloading for one night, so I went with plain.
What's nice about digital is that I can go back and change the background if it really bugs me later! I made the page 6x6 so I can add it to the Book of Me that I started during summer camp last year. I sent off my first photos to be printed at Costco this weekend, and since they do scrapbook pages, I figured I can now print digital layouts on big paper. I believe they have a piece of paper that is 12x18, so all I would need to do is create a canvas of that size, and drop six finished 6x6 pages onto it (some expert will need to tell me what format to drop them in from), then send it off. How fun is that?
